Unable to move Change forward - Risk Assessment Required

We have a change request that seems to be hung up on asking for a Risk Assessment, however the user has already submitted the Risk assessment multiple times

 

Is there a way to get this to move forward?

Hello @BrianS344076034 

Scroll down to the botton of the Change Request form to related list "Risk Assessment" to find out it is showing Completed timestamp. If yes, then Risk Assessment is completed and if there is a Risk Field which is editable in the Change Request form then try to change it's value to something else without saving the form and then click Request Approval button.

I think since its a "VERY HIGH" it might be limiting the option to move it forward?

Do you get a warning like Change Task must be created before requesting approval or do you have a request approval button which gives you error to fill the risk assessment.

You can also try navigating to All > Change > All - Look for your Change Request, click the gear (update personalized list icon) to bring approval field if not already displayed in the list view and try to update the approval value to Requested:

1. Refer KB : KB0724927 Risk Assessment not updating risk field after completion 

Setting a valid default value for the Risk field will get the issue fixed.

On a change request form:

  • Right-click on the Risk label and select "Configure Dictionary";
  • Check the available choices on the Choices related list;
  • On the same form, on the "Default Value" tab, set it to one of the available choices;

 

2.  Ensure the Risk Assessment, when finished, actually updates the Risk field on the Change Request form. If not, the UI action may not register the completion.
