Can we have Japanese translation for the list for Language in system setting ?

have you enabled 'I18N: Japanese Translations' plugin.? if not please try to enable and see if that work. Also read below link for more information.

 'I18N: Japanese Translations' plugin is already installed in instance

Hi Shikha,

if I understand well, you just need to show instead of Japanese the equivalent in japanese characters, right?

Look into the [sys_choice] table and search for table [sys_user], element preferred_language and language en.

You would have something similar there, Japanese would be with value "ja".

You just need to change the label

I just want to translate that keyword Japanese in Japanese language .

For example , when I select Chinese language from list for Language in system setting then Japanese or Chinese both are showing in Chinese language :

But when I Select Japanese language from list for Language in system setting then Japanese keyword is reflecting in English while Chinese keyword is showing in Japanese :

So I want to change that Keyword Japanese in Japanese language .
