Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'nameMap')

As soon as I set the value of one of the variable via ATF, I am getting below error:

Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'nameMap')

There are only a couple of ui policies that alter the visibility of a few other fields when I am setting the variable value. Not sure, what's wrong. What could be the possible issue here?

Attached the image. In the previous step, i have set request type as add and in the failing step i was just trying to validate states of the variables

Can you keep the validation after all the variable data has been populate.

it is kind of weird because we are going in the reverse direction if we follow this but it worked.
