Catalog item service fulfilment task not being triggered

Hi there

 

I have created a staff mover form catalog item which the first half of the form gets the current user details like name, manager, department, employee number, location and company. The second part of the form displays fields that the user populates to enter details of their new line manager.  To validate the inputs I have 2 tasks created in the catalog item called Process Staff Mover which is assigned to the IT Service Desk (which works as it creates a request task) and Update LM in Oracle which has a condition associated with the task which looks for the current manager is different to the new line manager. When the catalog item is requested, this task (Update LM in Oracle) does not get triggered.  Please can you advise what is needed here to fix the issue.

You can use OOB Step based request fulfillment flow to achieve this.
