Catalog Item - setting default value.

Hello All,

We have a catalog item "support" that can be used for a customer that creates an INC on submission.

  • When a user (internal / customer)  is accessing this catalog item to create INC on submission, it gives an error enter mandatory fields sold product or asset.
  • on investigation found that its looking for a certain sold product when we added that to the customer, we were able to submit the form.

Q ) Where can we find the sold product hardcoded as the catalog item is expecting the customer to have that sold product listed?

  • The record producer does not have code where its hardcoded. Its just referencing the table to get data for the variable.
  • Checked variable sets,catalog ui policy,catalog client scripts but could not find any thing hardcoded.

Please advise how this can be investigated/resolved.

First, please clear if it's catalog item or record producer.

Second , please share some screen shots of all codes written.

A record producer is a specific type of catalog item that allows to create Incidents from the service catalog.

Thanks for the sharing the definition, however we know both the items in details, both belongs to different table under same hierarchy. 

 

Please share the some more details like any onSubmit script or record producer level script.
