Catalog task creation via workflow. field value not setting correct

When creating a catalog task via flow design how do i a choice (multiple choice) variable and date variable to match up correctly into the new task record.

example: when i submit the catalog item, the priority choice is not correctly set in the new catalog task form. Same goes for the Date

How are you mapping the Due By and Priority?
Are you mapping with the catalog variables? If yes, both the field type and variable type should be same and also the values.

Example: If you are mapping the priority the values of the priority and the values of your catalog variable should be same.
