Hello,
On our incident form we have a reference field pointing to our Problem table so an Incident can be linked to a known issue raised as a Problem.
The Service Desk can have difficulties choosing the correct Problem for the issue as only the PRB reference is shown (PRB00XXXX). I am investigating a potential solution to instead display the Short Description of the Problem in this reference field so the SD can search the field and it will show results based on the words entered. Firstly, is this possible and how can I set this up? Secondly, we have another field in the Related Records section of the Incident form which also contains the Problem field. This auto fills based on the value entered in the initial Problem reference field. Is it possible to have this second field contain the PRB reference no. while the other one shows the Short Desc.?
See screenshots attached for reference.
Many thanks in advance,
Nathan

Since both the fields are referring to problem table it's not possible to show PRB at one place and short description in other field.
The value it shows i.e. PRB number is because of number field marked as Display=true at problem table
Only 1 field on a table should be marked as Display=true at dictionary level
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
