@Dr Atul G- LNG
I see those things were applicable when we are selecting the Source field as CI Class in both BW/MW, it reflects as a conflict when we raise an change request on the particular day which has been configured in the BW/MW. When selecting the source as change request it doesn't reflecting the conflict in the change request.

@Dr Atul G- LNG attched the Snip here, when im selecting the source as Change, im able to submit the change request in the day which has been schedule as a holiday freeze. When we select the source as CI Class we see a conflict while submitting the change request on the same day. Any suggestions here..

Hi @dmahendran
I think this is as expected, OOTB if your change is in Freeze period, system will not stop you to proceed further. Better use the CI classes as source.

@Dr Atul G- LNG we want to restrict end users from creating change requests during the holiday period without using the "CI Class" as the source type. Instead, we want to proceed with the source type as "Change Request." However, when we select "Change Request" as the source type, there is no conflict or notification alerting the end users that they are attempting to create a change request during the holiday period.
Is there a way to notify users when they select "Change Request" as the source type?
