Hi all
i need help
I want to use some standard out of box performance indicator but scope of this indicator is not in Global application workspace. Scope of this indicator is in specific application workspace. Because of this, I can not able to apply my all Breakdowns which I have created in global application workspace.
Is there any way that i can change the scope of this indicator to global workspace without need to copy this indicator and recreating it in global workspace with some small change in name.
i do not want to create one more indicator just for making scope change
please suggest if anyone done this before.

Hi @ShriramJoshi,
No, you cannot change the application scope of an existing OOTB Performance Analytics Indicator directly from its original application scope to Global.
- Indicators belong to the application scope in which they were created.
- OOTB indicators delivered by a scoped application remain owned by that application.
- Breakdowns, Sources, and other PA records are also scope-aware.
- Changing the scope of an OOTB indicator is not a supported approach and can cause upgrade and application ownership issues.
- Create a copy of the OOTB indicator in the Global scope.
- Reuse the same Indicator Source, Breakdown Sources, and configuration where possible.
- Apply your Global Breakdowns to the new indicator.

Hi @ShriramJoshi ,
You can not change scope of standard out of box performance indicator to global scope.
Only alternative is that-
- Open the original scoped indicator and review its configuration, including the Indicator Source, Unit, Direction, and Display
- In Global scope, build that indicator from scratch with same configuration.
