child table sub category displays the parent table's subcategory choices when category is --none--

when i change the category choice field to none the sub category displays the parent table choice fields in servicenow

how to avoid that 

here in this screenshot the category is none so the sub category should also be none 

but it is showing the choices of the parent table here the Question value is the value of parent table sub category choices

I think this is ServiceNow bug how to avoid this?

Is this the Incident table I can see it is working correctly in my PDI.

Please check if the subcategory is set to be a dependant field on category:-

If it sis custom field how are you setting the dependency of both the fields?

Please share the screen shot, how you configured the category and sub category. For example - Have a look on OOTB category / sub category on Inc form in PDI .
