I have cloned the typeahead widget and used it as a modal in the homepage. When i click on the search bar and search the modal closes and the results are displayed. But when i again open the modal the search term does not get cleared away. Only when we use the "Clear search term" icon in the search the search term goes away. I want to clear the search term when the modal closes. Need some help on this.
