Clone instance and exclude users in [sys_user] with class = contact OR class = consumer user

Hi,

I would recommend dont go with 2 option you should go with Data Preserve.

If you go with exclude table then target not fill with source data.

Please mark it as correct answer if it helped.

Hi,

You can use the below table to understand the relationship.- 'account_relationship_list.do'.

If you enable the preservation mentioned table then OOB will take care of your data.

Any issues when cloning is happening, you have a backup which was exported as an  xml file. After Cloing completion compare the data - If all data present with out data loss no need to import the backup data.

Any data loss identified - Try to analysis the reason and nothing identified you should use this back up record and import the data to the table.

Please mark as correct answer if it helped.

I am curious on both the exclude table and data preservation of the Users [sys_user] table.

Should I both set an exclude table => [sys_user] AND  clone data preserver => [sys_user]?

The reason for this is that we have [customer_contact] data that also stored in the [sys_user] that we don't want saved in our sub-production environment.
