I would like to understand whether a service instance has any upstream or downstream relationships in the CMDB. Could someone with CMDB experience please guide me on how to develop queries to identify these relationships and fetch the related records?
Additionally, I want to understand:
How can we connect a service instance to infrastructure CIs such as servers, databases, etc.?
Is it considered a best practice to relate infrastructure CIs directly with service instances?
I am new to CSDM and CMDB, so any guidance, examples, or best practices would be really helpful.
