Why would a filter field (for Category Manager) be grayed out for one particular column in list view? The field content is a reference to the user table, but the users in this list appear as String, they are not clickable as references should normally be and the filter field is greyed out.
Is it because of an invalid reference to the user table?
Did some search work before posting here, but couldn't find anything that really matches my case.

Hi,
If that is a field of type List then this is out of the box behavior; it shows as greyed out in the list view
Refer to incident watch list and additional assignee list fields
