Company logo in SP is not visible when "Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents" enabled in the browser

Hi All,

When enabling "Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents" in the browser, the company logo in the Service Portal is not visible. This doesn't happen when user preference is set to Dark Mode. Any hints on what could be the reason?

How we reproduce the issue in Edge:
Open the Edge browser.
In the address bar, type " edge://flags/" and hit Enter.
Locate the "Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents" setting and select "Enabled" from the drop-down menu.
Restart the Edge browser.

How we reproduce the issue in the Google Chrome:

Launch Chrome.

In the address bar, type "chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark" and hit the Enter key.

Locate the "Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents" flag and select Enabled from the drop-down menu.

Restart the Chrome browser.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Hello @kandulek

Here is the screenshot of default service portal from edge dark mode:

If you can share yours then I can compare it.

Hope that helps!

Hi @Vishal Jaswal,

Thanks for your response.

When changing to the dark mode (Preferences > Theme > Dark), I have exactly the same view - logo is visible:

But when enabling "Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents" in the browser, the company logo in the Service Portal is not visible (black letters on the dark background).

Hello @kandulek

I believe this is related to the custom image logo you are using; for example if this is a PNG then the logo must support transparancy.

You can try reproducing this issue in your PDI and you will not be able to:
Browser: Edge
