Hello,
I'm trying to add consumable assets off the same model to different accounts using different asset tag and/or serial number.
But the asset gets added to the first account, and I'm not able to create additional assets for the same model on other accounts . The quantity on the existing asset increases instead of adding new assets.
Is this the expected behavior for consumable asset models, is it only intended to be only used once? If not, please let me know if what I could be missing here
Regards,
Ziad

The issue turned out that for consumables, things like serial numbers are not considered unique identifiers and attributes likes locations, status and Substatus what makes it unique.
In this we just created location and stock specific to each account and that resolved the issue.
Another thing we also found is that a consumable asset cannot be parent to any other asset.
