PS - those articles are there in our KB at all.

In the screenshot that I provided, when I click on that article, it takes me to https://hi.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0714239

Hi @AshishKM ,

 Modify Knowledge Base Search Settings

  • Go to the Knowledge Base: Navigate to the Knowledge Base record for the OOB knowledge articles.
  • Uncheck Active Knowledge Base: If you don't want certain knowledge articles (from OOB KBs) appearing in the search, you can either deactivate the knowledge base or restrict it.
    • Navigate to: Knowledge > Knowledge Bases

@Dr Atul G- LNG  my question is not to remove the KA search source. I dont want OOB articles to be displayed in the result. I dont know from there its appearing. Those articles are not there in our instance at all.

Hi @Suggy

Thanks for providing the clarity. Here are a few steps:

  1. Search for these OOTB articles in Knowledge (under the "All" module). If you're able to find them, delete or unpublish them.
  2. Another reason could be that when specific plugins are installed, the "Load Demo Data" option gets triggered, and these articles get loaded into the instance.
  3. Lastly, log a case with Now Support for further assistance.
