Hi,
i need to create an Exceltemplate.
The table has an "auto"number field.
I know that Number 0001 needs value "xy" in Field
I prepared the List in ServiceNow, only the Number Field and the Field which should be updated are on the List.
Then i click on the header, click Import and click the Button "Create...."
I tried with and without the Checkbox (Include all fields in the template).
Always the Excel Template has no "number" column!
I know that the Sys_ID field will link to ne right record.
But i only know the relation between NUmber and new Field Value which should be imported.
PS: do i have do delete the created Description Page?

Hi @Meloper
Please check below posts which could be helpful :

Also ensure that the property "glide.import_template.field_types_to_ignore" from sys_properties.list does not have the Field types you have created.
Thanks & Regards

From which table are you doing this? Because (especially when you select 'include all fields') you should get an excel with all fields (including sysID). You can then remove all other fields and just keep sysID and the field(s) you want to change.
You can delete the Description page, because you don't need it, but not necessary.
Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.

Thank you.
On INC Table the Number field is also "read only" but with the Display Checkbox checked it appears on the Template.
On my Custom Table it is also "read only" but it is not set to Display

Hi @Meloper
Are you doing from Foundation table like user or
transactional data like incident.
