Create an Idea Module

Hi All,

We are trying to use Idea Modules so that different departments can have their own areas.

In order to do so you have to extend the table: im_idea_core

Create an Idea module (servicenow.com)

However when I go to create a new table the option to extend the table isn't available.

Anyone know why?

Hi @jarrejo11,

In order to get a base-line understanding, how are you attempting to create the new table? Assume you're logged in as an admin and you're simply navigating to the 'Tables' module and selecting create new and configuring the form as below? Is is simply not selectable as an option in the 'Extends table' filed?

Also check the 'im_idea_core' table 'Contol' tab to ensure the 'Extensible' checkbox is true (Default Out of Box) - See second screen shot below.
