CSA in 2025

Hi!

I am planning to take CSA within 6 months, and I am now preparing for the review. Has anyone taken the exam within this year remotely/at home? any tips on the preparation side?

Based on my experience, I. completed the CSA in 2022, but as a trainer, I can guide you. For the CSA exam, the ebook is your single source of truth, which means reading and understanding the ebook 3-4 times, along with doing the labs 3-4 times, will build your confidence. If you're planning for the exam now, I recommend also going through the CSA Study Guide, which is freely available on Now Learning.

Here’s a schedule to follow:

1. Revise 1 chapter daily and do labs.
2. Don’t rush through it—read word by word, especially focusing on table names, roles, etc.
3. On the day of the exam, make sure to get plenty of rest, and log in 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
4. You need an external camera if you're appearing for the exam from home.

This approach will help you prepare more effectively for the CSA exam.

Just rely on the content provided from ServiceNow and maybe read it 2 times or 3 times to ensure that you get the full understanding - this should be enough to pass the CSA.
