Custom App build and licensing guidance needed

Hi,

I want to know App engine licensing for below scenario.

My Customer wanted to retire legacy application and wanted to move towards custom app in servicenow. There are around 5000+ users including customer's supplier, partner and authorized service providers. Supplier, partner and authorized service providers are not part of current ServiceNow setup in ITSM suite, basically these are external users (guests) and customer need all these users to be able to create a request, track a request etc. on particular business process/function.

Is it possible to achieve above functionalities by purchasing licenses as below.

1) Requester (~5000) -- No separate subscription as per App engine licensing info

2) App Engine Fulfiller (around 10) - to maintain/admin custom application who can do backend fulfillment and app maintenance/administration

3) App Engine Business Stakeholder(around 25) - to approve requests, view reports etc.

Basically Custom App Access  - Can it be granted to all 5000 external users just by paying for 10 App engine fulfiller and 25 business stakeholder?

Would appreciate your earliest response/guidance on this.

This is a question best asked to the customers ServiceNow representative as in many cases the agreement is tailored to the specific customer, so what is mentioned in sales documentation may not be correct for your customer anyway.

As you say though there are mentions that the App Engine access for requestors does not require a subscription so it should be okay. Again please confirm with the ServiceNow representative to be sure.

Thanks for providing insight. Do you know ServiceNow CUSTOM app supports VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX credit card/debit card if customer wanted to setup some gateway while checkout of cart?

It is possible yes. You need to leverage some payment API and customise a payment widget. You can use something like Stripe to handle the payment side of things.

Has anybody tried and tested? I checked with SeviceNow Technical Spoc or representative and it seems not done anywhere in his knowledge.
