Hi, I have requirement in dashboard. I want choice to select(custom list) and apply filters to reports. Choices are not exist in the system.
let say for example we have 3 different business Units in my organization. each Business unit have multiple assignment groups. I need choice to select business unit not assignment group. example: I want choice BU1, BU2, BU3(these are not exist in system.).. I want to define them as BU1= group1+group2+group3 , BU2=group4+group5, BU3=group6+group7+group8
How do I group few groups as one choice?

Hi @ram prasad ,
You can create 3 GROUPS as BU1,BU2,BU2 and add all the groups under this business unit group , so it becomes a parent child group. Now in report you can group it by Business Unit Group instead of actual groups...
I hope this helps...

Hi @ram prasad ,
On this matter I agree with @Sohail Khilji . Create 3 groups.

Thank you Anders/Sohail for your kind response.
I will check this option and see how it works. Actually the reports in dashboard are from different tables. It has to apply for all the reports.
I see few people are writing script in dynamic content block (table : content_block_programmatic). I am not good at xml scripting. Let me check for that as well. meanwhile kindly let me know if you can find the script to apply filter for all the tables with this approach.

Hi @ram prasad ,
No script is needed. Create the 3 groups and afterwards create an interactive filter where you map the different tables to that interactive filter.
