Data uploap running on behalf of the person who created the data source.

Hi I need some assistance in the following:

Current condition - 

I have created a attachment(excel sheet) type data source to upload data. when someone adds an attachment in the data source and loads the data, the updated or created by field is populated with my name "hrishabh.kumar" in all the records with is added.

Requirement -

I need the way to configure this so that when anyone uploads data using the data source, created by or updated by should be populated by his/her name or system name.

I even have one question : If for some reason my account is deactivated form the instance, will the data source still work?

Hi,

The updated field should populate the user who loads data. Are you using scheduled import ?

Hi @palanikumar , no we are not using scheduled import.

1) If you are using scheduled import for loading data via data source so you can use Run as field to set the user name to load the data with his/her name.

2) And if user is inactive, still data will be loaded with her/his name in snow.

Hi @Moin Kazi , I understsanf the concept of scheduled import, but we are not using it. 

so in case of direct data upload using the data source, if my account i.e. who created the data source is removed. Then will the data source work?
