Date interactive filter

Please help me, how was this interactive filter created and added to the dashboard?

Take a look at this out of the box interactive filter: /sys_ui_hp_publisher.do?sys_id=62005de5d7200200b96d45a3ce610359

What makes it "usable" once defined are the records on the "interactive filter dates" related list.

In the example below you can see that if you have a report on the incident table, this filter will "handle" the opened_at field. So whenever you select a date on the filter your report will use that date to filter it.

You can create an interactive filter from the dashboard also, Follow the below steps:

1.Click on #New Date

2. Create that filter like below(example):

3. Then create New interactive filter date from the New button from the related list:

like this,

then save that and open the dashboard and from the (+) icon add that date filter:

here I have added Created on filter.

then from the gear icon check Act as an interactive filter:

And mark these two fields for the report which you added to dashboard:

Then you can find the data showing in the report accordingly to the added interactive filter.
