I have a load of duplicate CIs in a CMDB table. I need to process the de-dupe tasks in such a way that I merge/preserve the relationship to responses given to variables in MRVS (multi_row_question_answers) on catalog requests. This table isn't on the default related items list and isn't available to be added.
My question though, is that, surely this is a standard requirement and someone at some point would have needed to do a similar thing? Is there any one out there with this kind of experience that would be willing to share some knowledge with me?
I know why it is obviously. The responses in MRVS just show a sys_id in the value field. It's not actually a reference to the CI. However, again, surely this could have been taken into account by the reconciliation wizard somehow?
