we have currently 4/5 active Knowledge bases and only one of the KBs would like to have the ability to choose templates. So I tried to disable the templates from the specific KB. I went to the KB and tried to remove the templates from the related list. But the article templates are not available as you can see in attached file .
But when I go to “Create Knolwledge – New” and select this particular Knowledge base I see all the templates .
So how do I assign certain templates to specific knowledge base?

You can control the templates that are available within each knowledge base by going to the knowledge base and clicking on the "Article Template" tab.
Click on "Edit" and select (or de-select) from the existing templates. I'm not sure if this gets you where you want to be, but I hope it helps!
If my response helped you, please click on "Accept as solution" and mark it as helpful.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I've found numerous posts asking the same question but the responses sound like bots because they ignore the fact the poster clearly says the templates they want to remove are not shown in the Article Template tab.
