Hello all.
A few days ago, I retrieved some records from the sys_audit_delete table and for some reason, the "created by"/"opened by" fields were updated to my user and the "created on"/"updated on" were updated to the date they were retrieved.
records form task table
Is there any way to undo this? I need some ideas.
And why did this happen?

Hi @eri_a ,
Can you please describe how did you retrieve the deleted data? Did you use any script or did you use any other action.
The way it was retrieved will play a major role in debugging the issue.
Please mark the answer helpful and correct if it helps the issue. Happy scripting 🙂

It may have been using a scrip. Deleted records has its own UI action to restore the records. In a lower environment try deleting a record and then us the UI action to restore it and see if the same thing happens.

It didn't happen with me after deleting INC.
it still shows the same created, opened, updated date/time
Is this happening for only 1 task type?
Try to raise a case with ServiceNow
Before deleting:
After Deleting and Then Retrieving again: It showed the same
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
