Deleting attachments from KB articles

Hello.

I'm trying to figure out how I can give rights to my "Knowledge Admins" so they can delete attachments from the KB articles they create.   Currently they have the "KnowledgeAdmin" role and do not have the ability to delete attachments from the KB articles, whereas I - as a regular admin - can delete the attachments.

How can I give them this right without making them admins?

Hello Pat,

They should have the ability to remove the attachments, specially for records that they have created.

Do they don't see the "remove" button while seeing the article attachments?

Hi Pat, Please check the ACL(Access control)in sys_attachment table and you can add roles as who should have access to delete attachment in table level.

I checked it on Fuji instance and it looks like any user with the KnowledgeAdmin role can delete attachments from the KB articles he creates. And can't he delete attachments form the articles created by other users.

If it is not works on your instance - try to check all security rules applied on the sys_attachment table (as HS ATT already said).
