Has anyone's instance ever come back after seeing this message? Did you get notified?
I've been waiting for over a week, and I see other community posts where after a month their instance is still unavailable.
I'm feeling this is ServiceNow version of a BSOD where the only course of action is to wipe and start again!!

After a couple of weeks with the same message, i logged in the other day to find my instance had gone and needed to request a new instance. I received no notifications about the instance ever becoming available, or the instance was being reclaimed due to inactivity.
Based on my experience, the responses here, and other community posts relating to this particular message, I have concluded the following:
- If backup of code exist, wait 2-4 hours before starting fresh.
- If no backup and i care about not loosing anything code, wait as needed - may get lucky!
- Don't wait, start fresh - life's too short!

Hi @Jon23
I have been using PDI since this morning with no issues, but yes, I saw a few posts on the community about PDI offline.
1. There is no support available for PDI.
2. If you can wait, more, let's wait
3. You may release this instance and take a new one but in this case, you will lose your previous data.
From going forward, try to take regular backup of PDI, to avoid any loss of update set in future.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

@Jon23 I have seen this message in past where my instance was in maintenance mode for some time and it recovered in the matter of few hours. However, in your case it is taking longer than expected, it is better not to waste anymore time and request for a new instance.
There is no support available for PDI instances.
Hope this helps.

Hi @Jon23
As you might know, there is no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDIs, hence if it comes online or not again is not to say. I would say that I myself has experienced this before where the instance was restored and worked again.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as accepted solution and give a thumb up.
