Hi Hetal,
When you extend a table, all fields present in it are extended to the child table and gets visible on the form layout/form design. They appear automatically on the child table form, if you want to configure you can do it by using form layout/form design.

Hi Priyanka
I want child table fields to appear in parent table form (not the other way round).
e.g. in task form i want to view incident table's outage fields
Any thoughts around that

Fields can't be placed on the form without actually moving them, there is a way to show the child fields in the list layout on parent table but they cannot be placed on the form as they are not actually present as per my knowledge.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Priyanka
