Display Knowledge articles of a category in portal widget

Hi All,

We have a requirement to display knowledge articles from a specific category in the "Most Useful" service portal widget, I have cloned the OOB "Most Useful" widget but not sure where to add the filter for categories to display only the knowledge articles from that category in widget.

Could anyone please help me.

We have already OOB Knowledge base page in which knowledge article set as per the category.

I wanted to display knowledge articles in "Most Useful" OOB widget only from a specific category

There's an OOTB widget for the same that you can place on the portal page, have a look at below screenshot.

This are all OOB knowledge related widget. Here, it already in category. you can select your knowledge article as per category only.
