Does anyone know the exact purpose of 'I18N: Internationalization Translation helper' plugin? What would happen by activating it and where it can help in?

I couldn't find much information in docs.

Yes i already checked this link and it doesn't give much information about the 'I18N: Internationalization Translation helper' plugin.

this could be helpful if you have multiple users those have different languages and they want to see the text in their own languages then it will be useful on that scenario. 

example: you have one catalog item and you have french user in your servicenow . so once you will activate this plugins you just need to go in System Localization > Translated Text and create new record for the catalog item. what will happen here, the french user will see the catalog item text in french language.

Hi Harshvardhan,

for language translation we have separate plugins for each language, for eg. 'I18N: Spanish Translations' for Spanish and its working fine in our instances but i was thinking the purpose for 'I18N: Internationalization Translation helper' plugin.

As per docs its just mentioned 'Modules and Import Set maps to merge all languages into one table for translation maintenance.' and no further information
