In many gamification discussions, points, badges, and incentives get most of the attention. But I’m curious about the role of discovery instead — things like gradually revealing features, optional paths, or encouraging exploration rather than rewarding every action.
Have you seen discovery-based approaches (with minimal rewards) improve long-term engagement in Service Portal or similar environments, especially once users are already onboarded?
