Can anyone answer below queries?
a) Scripted Field Mapping for Domain Imports
- Option 1: During domain-specific import set creation, is it necessary to:
- Use a scripted field map to translate Excel data to the target domain?
- Set the "coalesce" option to true for the scripted field map?
- Option 2: Alternatively, can we simply select the appropriate domain for the import and avoid scripted field mapping entirely?
b) Domain-Specific Lookups During Import
- When importing data with user and asset references:
- If I choose a specific domain (e.g., "Domain 1"), will the system automatically look up data (like asset serial numbers) within that domain during the import from the Excel sheet?
- Or do I need to implement custom logic to ensure domain-specific lookups?
