Domain Separation: Showing the domain picker to all users

I have domain separation set up for months.

I have an 'ask' from team if I can permanently have the domain picker showing in header beside their name.

Today they use the gear icon to 'toggle/show' the picker, but we wish it to always be in the header.

I read and test, and added a couple properties:

a/ added glide.ui.domain_reference_picker.enabled (true/false) and set to true
b/ But not too sure on this one:  glide.ui.polaris.domain_picker.role
c/ not too sure on this either: glide.ui.domain_picker.role

I also went to UI Macros: to Enable domain selection menus in UI16 ( meaning, set the domain selector to be active).

Any tips on how to always show the picker is very helpful because not much info on this out there and perhaps we have another property stopping this? Idk.

Thanks

Denise.

Please check for the user preference record that gets updated when you click the show domain picker in the header switch. Once you find the right user pref record, you can set the user field column to blank and system value to true. Please give it a try and let me know if this works.

Hey Pradeep. Thanks for the quick response. I did that too and yes i see the toggle to 'show the domain picker fine'. but most users won't know to click gear icon.

So what I wanted was to always show the domain picker in header, and not force them to go to gear icon.

So short of a BR to set this for them I am not too sure what to do?

thanks though.
