Dot walking field is not working with UI Policy

Team , 

We have dot walked couple of fields on the form , however when we tried to write UI Policy , cant find those in UI actions field .

we have dot  walked below fields on the form .

when i tried UI action those fields are not shown 

Can you please help me with it .

Hi @pramn ,

please remember that a UI policy update client site, hence no dot walking is available. To update in a dot walk relation, you need e.g.  business rule instead.

Hi @pramn ,

As Ander mentioned, UI Policy actions are client-side scripts and do not support dot walking. Also please check if the field which are looking to dotwalk belongs on the reference field table. Sometimes the field might belong to the parent table. Only the fields belongs to the reference field table will appear if you expand
