Dynamically change colour of field in the form widget

Hi all,

I have a requirement to dynamically change the colour of a field in the form widget based on the field's value. This works fine in the platform/backend as a style is defined for the field. 

Is there a way for the widget to inherit the styles associated with the table in question?

field style won't work in portal.

you will have to customize that form widget
