Edit Button in Knowledge article is missing

Hi All,

For one of the knowledge article in Published state did not have any "Edit" button by clicking on View Article.

And also one of Knowledge article is not getting search  by short Description even the keywords are defined in Meta fields. Earlier version of this articles are searched by Short Description but latest version is not.

 

Can anyone suggest on this?

I also checked UI macro and it is OOB.

Hello Ekta,

Navigate to Contextual Search --> Properties. Check short_description is there or not.

For reference check below screenshot.

Yes, Short_description is present in properties.

Hi, Did you work out your edit button issue?

Double check that the user has the "knowledge" role.  It is NOT included automatically with the ITIL role.
