On Incident table, I have Affected CIs on related list.
When I create and save default filter, the CIs I filtered out still shows up. It is not working.
I have followed this link http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=File:Filter_related_list_relationship_003.png#gsc.tab=0
My instance does not work as the link suggests.
I have configured form to get Edit default filter. However, the Edit default filter does not show up on the form.
My screen does not show as expected. Related list field does not populate
What steps did I miss?

I discovered where I was going wrong. This is how I solved it
While Affected CIs tab is Active, click header column of Configuration Item. Go to configure>List Control
I choose to have admin only for Filter Roles
I did sample filter conditions on public dev
Then back to Incident Table>Affected CIs>Edit, the filter will display.
Users can add their own but will not modify the default when Affected CIs is reloaded

Hi Joyce,
Can we also restrict the user to remove the default filter?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Anshul,
I don't think I understand what you are trying to achieve.
Default filter can only be modified by users with role(s) you place on Filter Roles field
When user logs in and want to add more filters, those filters only affect that particular user and the default filter still remains unaffected.
Let me know if that is what you were asking.

sla definition.vendor is javascript:gs.getUser().getUserCompanyID();
but sla's are not displaying based on the filter, Its displaying all the sla's.
this is the filter used in list control.
Kindly help on this ASAP.
