Enable/disable notifications button is not working for some users in virtual agent chat

Is there a role required for an end user to enable or disable notifications?
I have a case where a user with the admin role can disable, but an end user cannot. When they click on the button, nothing happens. Does anyone know what it might be and how to solve it?

Notifications are active in the user preferences but the chat button still doesn't work 😞 

I don't know what it could be

When I click on the button nothing happens, only in the notifications button. The 'disable audio notifications' button works perfectly

We encountered the same issue. We noticed that users with admin role are able to turn off notifications. Any ideia where this is defined?
