Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) instruction text change

Hello Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am seeking assistance with updating the instructional text on our ServiceNow ‘Enable MFA’ page. When users log in for the first time and need to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using an Authenticator app

Currently, our Enable MFA page includes:

  • A QR code for scanning with an authenticator app.
  • A field for entering the code generated by the Authenticator app.
  • A ‘Pair device and Login’ button.
  • And 3 points to follow while setting up the MFA

We would like to revise the instructional text to improve user understanding and streamline the setup process. Below is a screenshot of the current Enable MFA page for reference:

If anyone has suggestions or best practices they have implemented in their own ServiceNow environment, please share your insights. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your support.

Regards,

Ishaan Mishra

Hi there,

This concerns UI Page "multi_factor_auth_setup_page". You could edit it if you want. Personally I've never had a customer with that need, but you can if you want.

Kind regards,
