Enabling SSO Fails...

We have setup SSO with Entra as the ID provider in our Dev instance without issues.

When attempting to setup in Prod...
On the Multi-Provider SSO > Administration > Properties page:
Attempting to Enable by selecting one or all the options results in these errors:

  • Not allowing update of property: glide.authenticate.multisso.enabled
  • Error MessageNot allowing update of property: glide.authenticate.multisso.user.autoprovision
  • Error MessageNot allowing update of property: glide.authenticate.multisso.debug
  • Error MessageNot allowing update of property: glide.authenticate.multisso.login_locate.user_field

The errors occur for the admin and persist when elevated to Security Admin.

The Installation Exits are all set to False in Production but in Dev they are True for - MultiSSOLogin, MultiSSOLogoutv2, MultiSSOv2

Those were not set manually when setting up the SSO in Dev.

Testing the setup of the Identity Providers in Identity Providers is returning success.

What might be blocking the property updates?  Should I update the "Installation Exits" manually? Additionally, I see that I can update the properties directly.  That might solve it but it doesn't explain the error, which I'd like to understand.

I just had this exact issue and spent few hours trying to resolve.

what worked for me was creating a new user and making it 'admin' then logging in with that user and enabling multi provider sso tick box. it all worked fine with the new admin user but wouldnt work with the default admin user 'admin'

This solved my issue! My admin account would not enable the Multi Provider SSO property in the settings menu. I used another admin account and it worked!

I just experienced this too. My workmate was able to update the setting. So strange. 🤔
