Dear Community, I have an event that is getting triggered with node and resource as vmware vcenter data store, because this class doesnt fall under hardware hierarchy default binding doesnt work.
I am trying to leverage other binding options but not much of a luck.
Looking for some ideas on how to achieve alert to CI binding.

I have found the solution for this, below are the steps
1. Clear node field mapping in transform and compose alert output section
2. Add a new field mapping to set a variable called name
name should get value from event attribute which contains name of vmware vcenter datastore
3. Create CI binding to overwrite default binding (since vmware vcenter datastore is not a hardware subclass) as show below
