Hi,
I'm new to this community so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post feature requests. If not please point me in the right direction.
The feature I'm looking for is the kind of unread notifications that google+, facebook and even this support forum features.
Like so many people I'm swamped by email and the huge amount of emails Service Now sends by default only makes matters worse. Having a notification counter like this would greatly improve this IMHO. It would avoid round trips to some mailbox since everything would be in one UI. And it avoids having to go back and clean up the notifications after a task has been read/completed/whatever.
Regards
Bram

Been quietly hoping for this as core platform functionality since 2011. That was the year SN introduced BookMarking via UI11 and hinted that badging was being rigorously pursued. They've edged sooooo close to it for so long I'm beginning to think "the edge of my seat" is a permanent addition to my body.

Did anybody see the knowledge 15 keynotes? I saw in one of the videos that this style of "badge" notifications is indeed coming to the user portal, and I can only assume/hope it will also come to the itil user interface. I am drowning in email notifications and this would be amazing.
