Few of the HR Cases Stuck in Awaiting acceptance

Hi team,
Some of the HR cases are stuck in Awaiting acceptance state in the production instance. When i am trying to replicate the issue in dev instance , cases are auto-closing after 5 working days from awaiting acceptance.

What might be reason for cases got stuck in awaiting acceptance state from few months and what are the configurations controlling auto closing after 5 working days.

could someone please help.

is there an OOTB logic to auto close the case?

If yes then see if it's activated only in DEV and not in prod?

The logic is working in both Dev and Prod. but only few cases got stuck awaiting acceptance state in prod.

then any mandatory fields are missing from those cases and because of that those are not getting closed?

how is the auto closure happening?

OOTB or some custom scheduled job logic?

There is a OOB subflow named "HRI case user acceptance" which i believe for autoclosing the cases
