File type not permitted error for Microsoft Purview sensitivity label with encryption

When utilizing Microsoft Purview for data classification and labeling of files, the confidential sensitivity label is configured to encrypt the file.

When trying to attach a .docx or .xlsx file that is encrypted with Purview sensitivity labeling to a ServiceNow CHG or INC, an error is received: File type not permitted or mime type does not match the file content.

How can I allow these encrypted files to be attached, without completely removing the security feature?

File: Test confidential recipient only.docx | MIME Type: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document

File: TestSNOW.xlsx | MIME Type: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet

We have the same issue. According to copilot, this issue shouldn't occur for Office document. It also suggests that Servicenow implements the Microsoft Information Protection SDK.

I'd appreciate if the Servicenow team could look into this!
