Flow Designer action 'Ask For Approval' for specifying approvers.

When specifying approvers through 'Ask For Approval,' if the designated approvers are not reflected in the request record, what could be the possible issues?

Specify the approver.

After activating the flow, select the corresponding flow in the Catalog Item.

If try it, the approver cannot be specified.

If you look at your flow execution, it should tell you what happened with your approval step. My guess without seeing your flow context, is that the status is getting set to Skipped and the approval never generates. If you set a group/user in the approval field and they don't have proper roles to do the approval, it will skip the approval generation. Also something could be in place that if you are making the request that kicks off this flow, and you are also the approver, it will skip the approval as you would be the requester and approver and you'd obviously approve your own request, so the approval is never generated.

Please check into the execution section where the flow designer getting stuck or it is checking the approval section or not ? Or it is skipping .
