For SMS Notification Service provider field does not return any results

Hello everyone,

We recetly migrate to Utah and few users trying to set SMS notification but service provider field not showing up any options for them. I have attached the screenshot of it.  

 

Here are the steps: Go to your profile > prefrences > Notifications > Click on Advanced Prefrences > Delivery Channels > SMS > Click on :

I don't think this is the case, but did all your Notification Service Providers get cleared out, deactivated, or not attributed to SMS somehow?

Table: cmn_notif_service_provider

Filter: type=SMS

No. I see the list of service providers on  cmn_notif_service_provider table that means data exist.  Including me some users can see the Service provider under SMS notification but some doesn't. 

 

I came across below documentation where admin role can configure SMS notification from user record but when I am going on that particulare user record I don't see "Notification references" related list. So not sure if it is correct approach or there is some other way!

What about any configurations on the cmn_notif_device table? Any ACLs or client scripts impacting viewing those choices?

Did you ever find an answer to this? We are having the same issue. It doesn't look like any ACLs or Business Rules or system properties were changed in the upgrade that would affect this, but only admins can see the service providers now.
