Form Reference Field vs Table Reference Field

FrankMo

Is there a difference between adding a reference field to a form or list view compared to adding the reference field to the table?

Thank you in advanced for the assistance.

Hi @FrankMo ,

No, when you add a reference field to the form or/and list view, you also add it to the table. The form is just a visualization of the table data.

Hi, as @AndersBGS indicated the form\list are just visualizations of the table,
To clarify a reference field must exist on the table, before it can be added to a form or list view.
