Generate a report based on keywords from short description

Hello,

I have a requirement to create report and group it on basis of few keywords. The report needs to be in form of pie chart. At present, I have created a report via new UI and simply grouped it on basis of short description. It is showing all the short description and so dividing the pie chart in multiple parts but I need to club the keywords within a single phrase. Example is provided below :

1. If short description contains pen, pencil, notepad then it should fall under stationary.

2. If it contains AC repair, laptop replacement then it should fall under Maintenance. 

By this the pie chart will be divided in 2 parts  with label 'Stationary' and 'Maintenance'. And when I click on suppose stationary, it reflects tickets with short description that contain pen, pencil, notepad.

Please suggest.

Hi @Rachael12 ,

This is not possible in the report designer based on the information that you have given. You should instead utilize a field e.g. category / subcategory for incidents to have two categories. Alternative you can utilize performance analytics and have a scripted automated indicator.
